Product Empties 2018 #5

Welcome back to the fifth instalment of my product empties series! I've got quite a few empty products to share with you, which are a mix of skincare and makeup!

The first empty I have is the Charlotte Tilbury Goddess Skin Face Mask. I loved using this face mask! Firstly, the scent of it was gorgeous, it had a rose/floral scent to it which was very fresh and enjoyable. The texture of the mask itself was very luxurious, but it's not a hard setting mask, so after about 10-15 minutes, the texture of the mask is still the same as when you apply it, and I found that my skin was extremely soft after using it!

Would I Re-Purchase? Yes!

Next, I have recently finished using the Ciate London Fierce Flicks Liquid Eyeliner. This was something thatI received in a past Birchbox, and is a discovery that I was pleasantly surprised by! I've never thought to use Ciate makeup before, so I was unsure what to expect, but I really enjoyed using this eyeliner! I love wearing a winged eyeliner, so it's a product that I go through quite a lot, and I have tried eyeliner's from many brands, but this one is definitely at the top of my favourites! It was quite an intense black colour which I loved, and the pen was easy to control, which was perfect for creating a wing.

Would I Re-Purchase? Yes!

I've also finished up a bottle of the MAC Pro-Longwear Foundation. I have to be honest on this one, and say that I didn't really love this foundation at all! I found that whenever I applied it, it appeared really cakey on my skin and just didn't blend into my skin very well. It may have been the way I was applying it, however I've not had the same issue with any other foundations.

Would I Re-Purchase? Unfortunately Not...

On the topic of MAC Pro-Longwear, I've also finished up the concealer of the same name. Again, like the foundation, I didn't really get on with the concealer either for the same reason, but to also add to that, I found the packaging really hard to work with in terms of getting both the foundation and concealer out, especially when coming towards the end of the bottles.

Would I Re-Purchase? No

I have finished up a bottle of the Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic Spritzer, which I'm gutted about because I loved it! I found it so refreshing to use after washing my face, and it was a perfect little spritz on my face to give my skin some hydration! I really enjoying using Liz Earle skincare products because they feel so gentle on my face and leave it feeling so soft afterwards, and the scent is just gorgeous!

Would I Re-Purchase? Yes!

Ah, my beloved! I've not long used up my Benefit Roller Lash Mascara! I can't remember how many of these I've used up now, but the fact that I've pretty much used this continuously for the last 3 years may tell you how much I'm obsessed with this! I've never used a mascara that has made my lashes look so great before this, and, in my opinion, this is still the best Benefit mascara yet!

Would I Re-Purchase? Yes!

Lastly, I've finished up the Origins Never A Dull Moment Face Polisher! The scent, and packaging of this are absolutely incredible, and I did really enjoy using this. It definitely buffed my skin enough to give it a bit of a glow afterwards, however, I do feel that facial scrubs are just a little abrasive now, and I might start looking into using acids to exfoliate my skin in the future...

Would I Re-Purchase? Maybe!

What's On My Shopping List In October!

Hello again, and happy Autumn! I'm completely in my element now that Autumn has arrived and it's started getting a little cooler outside! Recently, I compiled a shopping list of beauty products which I have my eye on, and so I thought I would share with you what's on there!

Firstly, let's talk about the new Soap and Glory Call Of Fruity range! The range is mainly scented with refreshing scents such as coconut, papaya and mango! There are six new products in the range, and to be honest, I want them all! Below is the list of products in the range;

  • Bubble in Paradise Refreshing Shower Gel
  • The Way She Smoothes Softening Body Lotion
  • No Woman No Dry Hydrating Body Butter
  • Hand Food Hydrating Hand Cream
  • Summer Scrubbin Cooling Body Scrub
  • Glossed Moisturising Body Oil

I'm very excited because Pixi has just arrived in Boots! It seems that everyone else has also joined in on my excitement, as a lot of their products are just flying off the shelves! I desperately want to try the Glow Tonic, I've only heard such good things about it! I also really want to try out the Double Cleanse too! I've really been trying to amp up my skincare routine since Autumn has arrived, I want to make sure that my skin is as nourished and as healthy as possible over the colder months!

Now, I have just about enough lip products to be able to open a shop, but there's no harm in adding to my collection, right? I adore the new Revlon Kiss Plumping Lip Crème in the shade 'Nude Honey'. It looks like such an easy wearing nude shade, and I love the packaging that it comes in!

Another exciting new release is the Urban Decay Cherry Palette! I love the Urban Decay Palette's, in particular, my beloved Naked 3 Palette, but I did let out a little scream when the Cherry Palette was confirmed! The shades! They're just beautiful, and perfect for Autumn! They'll also be perfect for the Christmas party season, which is only just round the corner! I need the Cherry Palette asap!

I've yet to try the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara, although it's very popular! However, there's a special birthday edition which has been released which looks incredible! Mainly because the packaging is covered in glitter, and I'm so here for it!

Lastly, I don't know why, but I've become obsessed with anything lavender scented recently! Then, whilst flicking through a copy of Hello! Magazine, I came across an advertisement for the L'Oreal Botanicals Lavender range. There are four products within this range which have all made their way onto my shopping list!

  • Sensitive Scalp Shampoo
  • Sensitive Scalp Conditioner
  • Sensitive Scalp Hair Mask
  • Pre Shampoo Hair Oil

That's it for my shopping list in October, let me know what products you're planning on purchasing this month!
