Soap and Glory 'Rich and Foamous' review- May 2015

I was in Boots the last Bank Holiday weekend and I had to make a stop at my favourite section in the shop, Soap and Glory. I've tried a lot of Soap and Glory products over the years, but this is a new product for me that I just had to try.

'Rich and Foamous' is an amazing shower gel that smells like freshly baked cookies, with its Almond and honey milks, oat extract. The first impression this shower gel made on me when I first used it, was the fact it smelt very exclusive, and expensive. It lathered up brilliantly, and left my skin feeling very soft and smelling like I'd already sprayed myself with perfume before I'd even got out of the shower gel.

This product is so good, I look forward to showers/baths lately because I get to use this beauty every time, and it's such a joy to use. In my opinion, I consider this to be the perfect product, as it doubles up as a dual shower gel/ moisturiser, perfect!

The price of this product is also very reasonable at £6.50. I'm so happy with the new addition to my Soap and Glory collection and I will definitely be buying this again!

My Hair Routine

I thought I would give you all an insight of what I do with my hair on a daily basis. I'm going to split this post into two sections; one section explaining my hair care, and one section explaining how I style my hair.

Hair Care

Firstly, I wash my hair every other nights, which generally means three times a week. My shampoo and conditioner of choice is the Aussie Miracle Moist. The shampoo cleanses my hair a dream, it lathers up really nice and leaves my hair smelling amazing for at least two days until I need to wash it again. The conditioner just helps to leave your hair feeling silky and smooth, and as the name suggests, your hair really does feel moist! Most shampoo's I have found in my experience, have left my hair feeling dry and stripped, which is not a pleasant sensation.

After I have finished washing and conditioning my hair, and before I blow dry it, I brush it through with a Tangle Teezer, and then go to apply some Toni and Guy heat protector. I'm not overly loyal to a particular brand of heat protector, as long as it does what I need it to in order for me to apply heat to my hair. I prefer to blow dry my hair as opposed to letting it dry naturally as I just find that hair goes frizzy and it's not a good look.

Hair Styling

Once my hair is all clean and dry, I then go onto styling my hair. I like to straighten my hair after I have washed it, again, because my hair tends to look frizzy a lot. Before I straighten my hair I apply some Moroccan Oil. I love using Moroccan Oil as it makes my hair look shiny and feel soft, and it smells great too.

When I've done all of this, I either leave my hair down, or I style it a bit more. My favourite hairstyle is a half up, half down hairstyle. To achieve this, I backcomb my crown section and smooth it out and clip it into place with bobby pins and finish it with some hairspray.

Benefit Roller Lash Review

At the beginning of February I was lucky enough to be chosen to be a VIP panelist for the Debenhams Beauty Club to review the new Benefit mascara 'Roller Lash'. On Valentine's Day a package was posted through my letterbox containing the mascara. This excited me immensely as the one makeup item I cannot get enough of (and am a massive hoarder of) is mascara. I was really intrigued by 'Roller Lash' as building up to its release, there had been lots of hype surrounding the product. Over the last 2-3 months I have been using 'Roller Lash' daily and I am now ready to sit down and write a review for you all to let you in on my opinions of this mascara!

Roller Lash is themed on the concept of the job hair rollers do for your hair and the packaging reflects this. With a wand that is designed with a hair roller at the top of it, the actual bristles at the bottom are shaped like a hook enabling you to really get into your lashes to give them the lift us girls can only imagine! Before trying the product I was very skeptical about how you could get away with having lashes with lift without using eyelash curlers before applying mascara, its claimed Roller Lash can achieve the lift without the use of eyelash curlers, but it's true, you can!

The best bit about this mascara, however, is that at the end of the day when I come to remove my makeup 'Roller Lash' comes off my lashes like a dream! It's the easiest mascara I've ever removed and that bags lots of brownie points!

Roller Lash is now my new favourite mascara!
