Lush Luxury Pud Bath Bomb Review

"Catch 40 winks on Christmas Eve with islands of sleepy foam and comforting lavender"

Probably a bit late to review a bath bomb from Lush of this nature, being festive themed and we're now in January, however this was one of my Christmas presents, and last week when having a bath, I decided to give this one a go!

As with any other bath bomb, I filled the tub up and then dropped this little Christmas Pudding in. it's the most colourful bath bomb you'll ever see!

As soon as the Pudding has hit the water it immediately starts fizzing and pouring out a rainbow of pinks, purples, blues, whites and greens, as you can see from the left picture below, until eventually you have cloudy pink water as seen in the picture on the right. I loved the was this bath bomb unfolded when it plunged into the water, it's definitely one of the most colourful ones I have used, and I think part of the excitement over the bath bombs is seeing them dramatically change the colour of the water which is truly amazing!

The other exciting part of using a bath bomb is the smell. In the description for the Luxury Pud, it says it has lavender in it, but in all honesty I couldn't smell lavender. It's a very sweet smelling bath bomb, it smells exactly like Snow Fairy if you have ever tried that shower from Lush, which is so lovely to me, however some people may find it overpowering.

Overall, this is a wonderful festive treat from Lush, and I would definitely consider purchasing again when the Christmas range comes out again!

My Everyday Makeup

I thought today I would let you into my everyday makeup routine, and give you an insight into what products I'm using on a daily basis, step by step.

Face!

Firstly, I start with my Concealer, and at the moment the Concealer I have been using is Boi-ing by Benefit. I use this on any blemishes or spots I may have. Sometimes I will need to cover a lot up, and other times I don't even need to use it if my skin's behaving!

Next I go in with my Foundation, and the foundation I use is one I have been religiously using for the past three years and love so much and that is the Healthy Mix Serum by Bourjois. I honestly can't rave enough about this Foundation enough; it just does exactly what I want a Foundation to do. It's light, it covers my face, it gives a wonderful glow, and I actually really like the fruity smell. Nothing has even come close to beating this Foundation for me.

After I have finished using my Concealer and Foundation, I powder my face to finish off my skin and get rid of any unwanted shine. The Pressed Powder of my choice at the moment is also by Bourjois and is the Healthy Balance Powder. Again, the same with the Healthy Mix Serum, this powder feels so light on your face which is such a great feeling.

Brows!

I then move onto my brows, to do my brows, I use a couple of products. First I will use the Maybelline Brow Drama Mascara, and then fill in any empty areas using my Benefit Brow-Zings kit.

Eyes!

I keep my eyes fairly simple; however it does enhance the features my eyes have. The first thing I do with my eyes is apply some liquid liner on my top lid and flick it out in a cat eye style. To do this, I have been using the Stilla Stay All Day Liquid Liner lately. I'm a little bit unsure of this eyeliner, I had been previously using the Collection Liquid eyeliner, but I have found that the Stilla Eyeliner seems to dry up very quickly which is frustrating if you're in the middle of doing your eye makeup!

After I have applied my eyeliner, I curl my lashes with a curler which is just one I got from Superdrug, when my eyelashes have been curled, I apply some Mascara. The Mascara I'm currently using is Benefit's They're Real.

And that's it for my everyday look! Sometimes I may add a bit of blusher, bronzer, lipstick, or pencil eyeliner, but that's more for an evening look or special occasion. I hope you've enjoyed taking a peek at what products I use!

Moroccan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner Review

The Moroccan Oil shampoo and conditioner are products I've been desperate to try for ages, but have never got round to actually purchasing, so when I was last in my hairdresser's, I decided to go for it, and I'm so glad I did.

My hairdresser spoke to me about this shampoo and conditioner and explained how best to use it, advising me that two pumps of the shampoo is enough to cleanse the hair for one wash (I tend to wash my hair at least twice at one time). My hairdresser also told me that the Moroccan Oil shampoo does not contain any sulphates or parabens, hence the reason when using the shampoo that it does not lather up, as most of us are so used to when washing our hair.

I have now been using this shampoo and conditioner on and off for the last month, and really love it as I thought I would. It has the typical Moroccan Oil smell that I'm so used to from using the oil, and makes my hair feel really lovely and soft once I've dried my hair after usage.

As my hairdresser suggested, I use two pumps for each wash, the first wash doesn't lather at all, but once you move onto the second wash, it will lather up slightly, however you can be assured that the shampoo is doing its job and getting your hair squeaky clean! I then move on to taking two pumps of the conditioner and working that through my hair. After, I then rub the Moroccan Oil Treatment through towel dried hair, and blow dry. I end up with fabulously smooth looking and smelling hair!

The Moroccan Oil shampoo and conditioner retails most places for around the £39 mark, slightly pricey, but so worth it, I can guarantee you!
